Thus, the same marketers mentioned above have developed a promotion plan, following which, you can reduce the average age of the owner to 40 years. Moreover, they argue that the main audience for the Jaguar F-Pace 2017 will be people who have not owned a single model of the brand. Well, let's see.

The new Jaguar F-Pace looks really cool. And she recognizes a thoroughbred appearance, but now it is something more familiar, mixed with something from the future. A huge radiator grill, a narrow section of the headlights, a massive aerodynamic bumper - all this is done soundly and with soul. In general, the design looks somehow familiar, but at the same time futuristic. In the basic configuration, the multimedia system is equipped with an 8-inch touchscreen display, navigation and an audio system with a total power of 380 watts. As an option, another complex is offered, which includes a 10.2-inch display, 840 watts of sound, a Wi-Fi access point for 8 devices. There is a drive mode selection block on the tunnel. The eight-speed automatic changes the algorithm, and at the same time the engine, steering, brakes, gas pedal, in general, the car becomes different.

The XF platform was taken as a basis, it is understandable, but 80 percent of the model is unique parts. This is because the company decided that no Jaguar car should be like another, especially when it comes to the first crossover in the history of the brand. In general, we worked to the fullest. So, for example, a car for the same 80% consists of recycled aluminum, which made it possible to reduce the mass of the colossus to an unfortunate (relatively!) 1850 kg. For this size, this is a negligible figure. For example, the same Macan is 10 cm shorter and 5 cm narrower, but weighs 20 kg more, and the curb weight is almost 100 kg more than the mass of the Jaguar.
The car uses the same for Terrain Response from Range Rover. This is a kind of off-road cruise control. As soon as the driver turns on this mode, the speedometer scale is immediately marked from 3 to 30 km / h, the desired speed is set, and the Jaguar F-Pace just drives right! Naturally, this function is only available in the air suspension version. If the buyer chooses the usual option, they will receive shock absorbers with adjustable stiffness. The sensors analyze the type of road surface more than 500 times per second, and then adapt the stiffness in accordance with the specified parameters.
Now comes the fun part. We must say right away that only a plug-in all-wheel drive is offered as a transmission, which is controlled by a ZF-step automatic machine, although different models of this transmission are installed on different engines, but for an ordinary owner, the code names of the boxes will not be important and will not say anything.By the way, as soon as the rear one is also connected instead of the front one, the latter is preferred in a ratio of 60:40, and the brake force distribution system paired with the exchange rate stability system slows down the necessary wheels for more precise control, which is more than enough here.
So the engines. Let's start with a dream. Of course, as always, the line of motors for Russia was cut, but this time not much. A petrol turbocharger for 240 horses is not available for us. There is 225 km / h, acceleration to hundreds in 7.5 seconds. Consumption of almost 8 liters. In general, cool.
Jaguar F-Pace in Russia will be offered with one of the following engines. The first also has a volume of 2 liters, but the power is 180 horsepower, in addition, it is a diesel engine, which allows squeezing out 430 Nm of torque from the baby. With it, an almost two-ton crossover starts up to a hundred in 8.7 seconds, a maximum speed of 208 km / h. With all this, the consumption slightly exceeds 4.5 liters in the combined cycle.
Then we go in ascending order. Next in rank is the 340-horsepower petrol V6, which produces 450 Nm, and acceleration to a hundred takes a little more than 5.5 seconds. It is clear that there is a 250 km / h limiter. By the way, Macan's competitor does not have such a limiter. So, such an engine will burn no more than 7.5 liters per hundred in the combined cycle.
Now diesel again. It has the worst performance in comparison with the previous engine, however, it is higher in the hierarchy of trim levels. So, this is a V6 turbodiesel with a volume of 3 liters and a capacity of exactly 300 horses. 6.2 to one hundred, 6.5 per hundred. Maximum 241 km / h. Good too.
But the top-end motor is installed only on the maximum configuration of the First Edition. This is an uprated V6 petrol. Only here, instead of 340 horses, there are as many as 380. Accordingly, acceleration to hundreds in 5.5 seconds, the maximum speed rests on the limiter, and the consumption is 7.5 liters. Hard to believe, I must say. By the way, only here 22-inch disks are installed, which cannot be obtained in other versions, this is a size record in the class.

Five complete sets are offered on the Russian market. We will not talk about each one, because the list of optional equipment for each of them is simply huge. So, the basic configuration of the Jaguar F-Pace - the price for it will be 3,193,000 rubles. Let's just say that if you fill in all the columns in the list of options, you get 4,726,000 rubles.
The top-of-the-line First Edition will cost at least 5 million exactly.
