Dodge has unveiled a new charged SUV Durango SRT. According to the company, it is the most powerful and fastest American SUV with three rows of seats.
Indeed, such characteristics and parameters cannot be found in every American SUV. Under the hood of the Dodge Durango SRT 2018, a 6.4 liter V8 HEMI gasoline engine is installed. The unit is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, which has special settings and an all-wheel drive system.
The power of the Durango SRT with this engine is 475 horses, and the maximum torque is 637 Nm. A charged Durango accelerates to 96 km / h (US rate of 60 mph) in 4.4 seconds. The driver of the Dodge Durango SRT 2018 will have seven different driving modes available: Sport, Track, Auto, Snow, Valet, ECO and Tow. The center dashboard stands out for its solid feature set, while paddle shifters and steering wheel speak to the sporty driving style of the SUV. The real power of the novelty can be felt only by driving it, otherwise the Durango SRT will seem like a family SUV with three rows of seats. It is worth noting that the second row of seats is not made in the usual solid, but is divided into two separate seats. Whatever one may say, but only two passengers will fit in the second row. In total, the Dodge Durango SRT 2018 cabin can accommodate six passengers, including the driver.
