Renault representatives in Ukraine announced the official start of sales of the updated Renault Captur crossover. The car received minor changes in the exterior, and the basic equipment acquired new options. Despite the statements of the company's designers, the updated Renault Captur retained its two-tone body color. In addition, the new product received three additional roof shades Platine Gray, Atacama Orange and Ocean Blue. If you count, then you can paint the new Renault Captur in 30 different combinations.
The color of the decorative wheel caps and inserts of the lower door liners has also changed, they are available in five new shades:
- Atacama Orange;
- Cappuccino;
- Ocean Blue;
- Red;
- Ivory.
As it should be for modern new cars, the Renault Captur crossover in the top-end configuration is equipped with Pure Vision LED optics in front. The LED daytime running lights are in the familiar C-style and the taillights are slightly darkened. The grille of the Renault Captur has also changed, a chrome strip appeared on it, which made it very similar to the Kadjar SUV. The rear and front bumpers have also received an update in the form of protective plates. The first three complete sets of the updated Renault Captur crossover will be installed on 16 "or 17" alloy wheels. More expensive configurations will be installed on 19 ″ wheels. Also, the top-end variants of the Renault Captur will acquire a fixed panoramic sunroof, which was previously available only in the most complete configuration. The interior of the crossover, as well as the exterior, was offered by the designers in six different shades: Ocean Blue, Ivory, Red, Satin Chrome, Patina Chrome and Caramel.
Following the interior of the updated Renault Captur, the steering wheel, door panels and gear lever have also been transformed. The designers have installed powerful LED lamps in the ceiling, which allows you to read the book freely, even in the dark. Removable upholstery and a very spacious "glove compartment" have migrated from the previous version. With a pleasant crossover in the interior, you can note the Bose audio system and the R-Link Evolution multimedia system with a navigation system, as well as Bluetooth and car systems control.
Features of the updated Renault Captur
The updated Renault Captur can now optionally be fitted with a BSW system capable of detecting cars and other vehicles in blind spots. The system operates at speeds from 30 km / h to 140 km / h. The maximum configuration of the Renault Captur is equipped with an automatic parking assistance system. The engine line of the crossover is represented by the usual dCi 90 (unit power is 90 horses, and torque is 220 Nm). The petrol unit is 115 TCe with a direct fuel injection system. The power of such an engine is 115 hp, and the maximum torque is 190 Nm. In both versions, the units will be equipped with an automatic dual-clutch transmission - EDC.
The starting price of the updated Renault Captur Zen crossover will cost from UAH 514,217 ($ 19,151), in the Intense configuration it starts from UAH 549,257 ($ 20,457). Whether the prices for this crossover in Ukraine will change or not is not known for certain, but the manufacturer named the main data and characteristics.
