March is on its way, which means spring is coming soon. Chery will present two new sedans of the Arrizo family, their price and photos.
Chinese cars are always distinguished by their price and sometimes quality. So one of such manufacturers in Ukraine, the Chery brand, will present two new sedans, the Arrizo family, in March. This type of car has not yet been presented in Ukraine. The line was created under the guidance of Canadian designer James Hope.
The renowned designer has previously worked for Chrysler, Ford and GM. At the end of 2014, these cars were already officially presented in their homeland in China. So the first model is Arrizo 3, the second model is Arrizo 7.
The characteristics of the Arrizo 3 are not great in comparison with other sedans:
- length is 4458 mm;
- width 1493 mm;
- wheelbase 2572mm.
For this model, only one type of ATECO petrol engine is available, with a volume of 1.5 liters, the power is 109 horses, and the torque is 140 Nm. But there will be two types of gearboxes available, a manual five-speed and a variator. From previous generations, the new Arrizo 3 is distinguished by high-quality interior trim materials, and rich equipment in the basic configuration. What the basic configuration will be will become clear only in the second half of March, during the presentation. The cost of the basic configuration of the Arrizo 3 in China starts at $ 10,000.
As for the Arrizo 7, the dimensions are slightly larger:
- sedan length 4652 mm;
- width 1825 mm;
- vehicle height 1483 mm;
- the wheelbase of the sedan is 2700 mm.
A 1.6 liter gasoline engine with 127 horsepower and 160 Nm of torque will be available for this model.
The suspension of the new sedan Arrizo 7 was developed with the participation of the British auto company Lotus. The seventh has a MacPherson strut at the front and a double wishbone independent suspension at the rear. For configurations intended for delivery to the PRC, six airbags are installed, the cost starts at $ 13,000 and can go up to $ 21,000.
